Translyrics- aka: Translated lyrics (duh). Its a much more painstaking process than people think it to be. What does it entail? Well, its not a simple translation of the lyrics from a song. It requires careful study of the meaning of the song. Its an adaption. You must capture the main idea of the original song and bring it to another language. Some think that's easy. Google Translate! No. That's not how it works. To make a good English (or any other language) adaption, the words need to flow and need to math the syllables and beats of the original. How easy does it sound now? Probably not too easy. You have to get pretty creative. Which, personally is the fun part! Even though its an adaption, the adapter has the opportunity to put their own twist on the song. Its a very satisfying feeling to finish a song and see the results. Where are my translyrics? I currently have one song finished and am almost done with another set of lyrics. I plan to start recording one of them this week and hope for it to be on up YouTube within the following weeks. The other song is one that is very dear to me. Its not exactly new, but its meaning and message speaks to me. I plan to put a lot into this cover and make it the best I can. I have original stems (individual instrument tracks) for this song so I will be able to get it mixed and mastered. Can't wait for the turnout!

I thought I would give a little update here. Even though not many people are reading this, I want to try and support all the platforms I'm on. I hope this blog gets some audience one day. Blogs are really good for getting content noticed and it could help a lot. Here's a little introduction: I'm 20 years old. I live in California and have worked as a freelance voice actor. I've always loved to sing but have also lacked confidence. But a few weeks ago something happened that made me realize that I need to take advantage of this time. I love to do this and it makes me happy. Singing actually allows me to forget my problems, as cliche as it sounds. Somehow, even though I lack confidence, I do have determination. When I set my mind on something I do it and I give my all. I'm even starting vocal lessons. I'm really trying to come out with quality covers and content from the get go. Its a dream, but one day I hope to be able to support myself doing this. I hope I make it to that day. I'm so happy to finally join the anime song cover game. I've been wanting to sing on YouTube for a long time and I finally decided to make my debut with the song, 'Call Your Name' from Attack on Titan/ Shingeki No Kyojin. Although I'm not finished recording, I decided to post a sample/preview to get people ready and to introduce myself to the community of fellow youtaites.
